Herne Bay Bus Rally 3rd August 2008.
This years Herne Bay bus rally was on two sites. The Stagecoach bus garage had a number of static vehicles on display and a lot of trade stands, while the nearby car park had the parking for the bulk of the vehicles and the ones that were used on the free bus services. These services proved very popular and departed the garage every 10 minutes or so and ran to various locations around the town.
Deal Centenary Running Day 24th May 2008.
This years running day was a great success with Buses parked on Beach Street, Deal by the pier. The free bus service to Kingsdown and Sandown was very well patronised and popular and we recieved some favourable comments from the public. Various East Kent vehicles ran on the free service including two Regents, a Bridgemaster and a Bristol VR. Non East Kent vehicles included an RML, a RT and a Leyland Lynx. Our museum bus was in attendance too and prooved very popular. Many thanks to all of our members and helpers who offered their services for the day and made it all run smoothly. It was a real credit to you all!
