Friends of the East Kent (FotEK) was set up in 1999 to encourage the preservation of the memory of the original East Kent Road Car Company Limited and to foster friendship with everyone interested in the preservation of Vintage Buses of every description.
FotEK currently own five East Kent buses, they are our FotEK Flagship, a 1962 AEC Bridgemaster, a 1964 AEC Regent V, a 1970 AEC Swift, a 1951 Guy Arab lll and a 1951 Open Top Guy Arab lll. Plus a wide range of 'East Kent' artefacts and memorabilia. See our 'FotEK Buses' page...
FotEK organises social events for former employees and their families and keeps its members up to date with news and forthcoming events with a free quarterly newsletter. We would love to hear from anyone who worked for the original East Kent Road Car Company and wishes to share their memories.
Membership of FotEK is open to anyone with an interest in the original East Kent Road Car Company vehicles and memorabilia. Please visit our membership page for details on becoming a member.
