Friends of the East Kent are always on the look-out for members with an interest in the East Kent Road Car Company and other buses/bus companies of a bygone era. We also require drivers, with a current PCV, as well as Conductors and Marshalls to help our Vintage Bus Running days go smoothly.

We would like to welcome you aboard
Annual FotEK membership, from our anniversary date of 11th August, is only £5.00 for Junior members from 12 years up to 21 years of age and £10 per person for the year for Adult members over 21 years old.
Six months membership is available from 1st February at a 50% discount.
Membership can be very rewarding with organised outings to Bus Rallies in the South East, and a free quarterly Newsletter.
Come and meet new friends with the same interests in vintage buses.

Friends of the East Kent members are needed to join the sub-committee to assist with the organisation of our future Bus Running Days. FotEK resumed running bus days in 2016 which was the centenary of the East Kent Road Car Company.
'East Kent 100' was held in September 2016 and has been followed by an annual event at the end of August or beginning of September each year, with the exception of 2020 when the Covid Pandemic dictated that the usual Walmer Green
event site was not viable, so a virtual event was held on the FotEK Facebook page.
On Saturday 3rd September this year,(2022) 'East Kent 106' is back at
Walmer Green with an extended FREE Bus Rides network.
Anyone willing to put some time and effort into similar worthwhile ventures is asked to contact the
Chairman, Mr Jake Bamford, on 07967 005350, or the Secretary, Mr Alwyn John Conway on 07434 951985.
